The Runt From Roger's School
by Thomas Kordsiemon

This book was a very good book! I liked it
because it was about football and because it had
a happy ending.
The story is about a boy named Benny. He is very
short for his age.Because he was so short,
called him names. He decided to join the football
team. He wanted people to think that he was an
awesome football player. The coach lets him join
the team. Benny trains to be a good football
player but is still unsuccessful at impressing
everyone with his talents. Finally, the day came
when all of Bennie's hard work paid off. He was
He was able to stop Dock Iverson, the opposing
best player.

Hello, my name is Brian and I am going to tell you
about a boy named Benny who wanted to play
football. Bennie wanted to play football so that he
could impress his friends because they always
made fun of him.The coach of the football team
said that Bennie could play because one of his
football players got injured. When he began playing
he was too short to catch or tackle. The coach said
if Bennie didn't do better, he would have to leave
the game. He started working harder and played
better. On the last day of practice, the coach made
Bennie safety. The next day the football game
began and his team ( the Rodgers) did great. The
biggest boy on the other team caught the ball and
Bennie crashed right into him and knocked him
down.Everyone was proud and amazed.

I liked this book because it was funny and
amazing.

I liked this book. It is called, "The Runt of Roger's
School". A boy named Bennie was kind of short.
Nobody in the football team liked him. But one
day the coach said that he had to tackle Dock
Iverson. Dock Iverson was a big, strong football
player.Bennie was able to tackle him but nobody
else could.I thought the book was awesome. The
reason that I liked reading this book was because
it was fun.

What I really liked about this book was how a boy
named Benny tried his best to play football well,
even though his team mates were taller than him
and made fun of him. This inspired me. I knew that
I could do big things, too.
